Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and reconciling shipments against packing lists.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in organizing stockrooms to optimize storage space and accessibility.
- Handle hazardous materials and heavy loads with proper lifting techniques and safety gear.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFP) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management software is a plus.
