Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to OSHA safety regulations.
- Document daily operations, including mileage logs and inventory counts, with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve any material handling issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be provided for review).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
