Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements.
- Organize warehouse space efficiently to ensure maximum workflow and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required, but certification is mandatory).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
