Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of stock levels.
- Load & Unload: Perform efficient loading and unloading of trucks and trailers in a timely manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory needs and shifts.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License required for dock operations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety checks.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible shifts, including weekends.
