Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers in a timely manner.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Verify inventory counts and document stock movements accurately using our warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Certification: Forklift certification is preferred, but we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Skills: Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience required. We are hiring now for individuals ready to learn.
