Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation while organizing stock in the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory scanning.
- Reliable transportation and a proven track record of attendance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
