Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe workspace for everyone.
- Organize and stock inventory shelves, ensuring accurate labeling and easy accessibility.
- Perform daily quality control checks to ensure product integrity during handling.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
