Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard environments
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate other warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
