Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate stock documentation
- Coordinate with team members to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Train new operators on proper equipment handling and safety procedures
- Assist in warehouse layout optimization and space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 3 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Proven track record of maintaining zero-accident safety records
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management tasks
- Basic computer literacy for WMS system navigation
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
