Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to maximize warehouse space.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning products and updating warehouse management systems.
- Assist with the preparation of shipping orders and documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies strictly at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating industrial material handling equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety labels, operational manuals, and shipping labels.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
