Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and trailers according to safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet daily production targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a accident-free work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License required for some positions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
