Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock organization within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Assist in preparing pallets and labeling packages for shipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class 1, 3, or 4) with a valid license or certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, forklift maintenance, and inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
