Key Duties:
Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the WMS.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
