Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform thorough pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Forklift Certification (CFP/OSHA) and be able to provide proof.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data into inventory systems.
