Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting daily cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and reduce turnaround times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
