Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including reach trucks and pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and tagging items using RFID or barcode scanners.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Prepare pallets for shipment and secure loads using straps and covers.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
