Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S warehouse standards.
- Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock counts and organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory logging systems.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but a plus).
