Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks with speed and accuracy while strictly adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure proper working order and identify any potential safety hazards.
- Organize and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment to minimize accidents and improve workflow efficiency.
- Accurately count, verify, and document stock levels using scanners or manual logs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and inventory replenishment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
