Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload freight trucks in a timely manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and internal protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Inventory Management: Scan and tag pallets accurately to ensure inventory counts match warehouse records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear and organized to ensure efficient traffic flow and product accessibility.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift leads and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driving: Valid Driver’s License required (Class B CDL is a plus).
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
