Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Stack and unstack pallets and products in accordance with safety regulations and inventory control procedures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the warehouse floor is free of hazards.
- Verify inventory counts and document any discrepancies accurately.
- Assist in the packing and shipping of orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification upon hire.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license (not required for operation, but helpful for warehouse transport).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
