Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas while maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred; however, certifications are available for qualified candidates.
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
