Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Verify inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse management
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines
- Complete accurate documentation for all material movements and inspections
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse settings
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and procedural compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Reliable transportation for night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
