Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load, unload, and stage materials for distribution or production lines with precision and speed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counting activities.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily throughput and safety goals.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read pick lists and shipping orders accurately.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
