Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Inspections: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization.
- Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CPD, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Schedule: Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physical Stamina: Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
