Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers according to shipping schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and quality control.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff.
