Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized correctly.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
