Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, including conducting pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with 5S standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movement and equipment usage.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required, but certified operation of counterbalance and reach trucks is mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
