Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately accounted for during receiving and shipping processes using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required; certification provided if not currently certified).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or RF Scanner experience preferred).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret pick lists and packing slips accurately.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
