Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse/distribution settings
- Load/unload trucks with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain organized storage areas and implement FIFO systems
- Complete daily shift logs and operational reports
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA/ITC certified preferred)
- Minimum 1 year industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexibility to work nights (6 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
