Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, count, and organize stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Palletizing: Properly stack and secure products on pallets to ensure safe transport and storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare orders efficiently to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Availability: Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (not required for operation but preferred for warehouse duties).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
