Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory is handled with care and moved efficiently to the correct locations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all shipping documents are completed.
- Ensure the warehouse area remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills required for inventory counting and weighing.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy objects for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
