Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols and time schedules.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Perform daily safety checks and ensure a clean, organized work environment to minimize hazards.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping to meet daily production targets.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse flow and reduce bottlenecks.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations strictly at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training (on-site).
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tracking.
