Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and dock areas.
- Follow all safety regulations, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Perform regular inventory checks and stock rotation to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse management regarding orders and potential issues.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills required for inventory counting and checking.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training during the probationary period.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
