Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to 5S standards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping and receiving orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of previous forklift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
