Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare and seal pallets for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Willingness to Train: Must be willing to complete forklift certification training provided by the employer.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance history.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills for safety documentation.
