Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory organization to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package items for shipment and prepare pallets for dispatch according to client specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply; we provide paid training for certified forklift operation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Must possess excellent eyesight and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for the entry-level role.
