As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-paced environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and proper placement of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow all company safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read labels, barcodes, and shipping documentation.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
