Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and stock incoming inventory to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Area Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by stacking and organizing pallets properly.
- Compliance: Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA) is required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in a high-volume environment.
