Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to learn and complete forklift certification training.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for reading labels and operating manuals.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (if applicable to dock work).
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
