Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload products.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory to ensure warehouse organization and meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure correct labeling before shipping.
- Material Storage: Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not required for entry-level operators.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
