Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse.
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety guidelines and warehouse protocols.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by adhering to scanning procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to obtain a forklift certification and learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to follow safety instructions and communicate with supervisors.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
