Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inventory Control: Accurately count, tag, and stock products to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent shortages.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the work area clean, orderly, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates with no previous forklift experience are encouraged to apply; training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
