Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including safety aisles and storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while performing daily tasks.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and labeling stock.
- Load and unload trucks using proper rigging techniques and safety gear.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production goals and material needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
