Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move palletized inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately verify stock counts and ensure proper storage organization using WMS systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets quality standards and shipping requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical functionality and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to streamline operations and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Friendly: No prior forklift experience is required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic for inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
