Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Prepare shipments for delivery by packaging and labeling items correctly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to obtain forklift certification.
