Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, clamp trucks) safely and efficiently during night operations.
- Load, unload, and stage freight accurately to ensure timely distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
