Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring accuracy and speed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Stock and organize products on shelves, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Packaging: Properly package and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing documentation.
- Safety Mindset: A commitment to following safety rules and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Communication: Basic reading and math skills; ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
