Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pallet Management: Stack, arrange, and organize pallets efficiently to ensure optimal warehouse space utilization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Assist in the accurate recording and tracking of inventory stock using scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background: Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available for weekend shifts and overtime as needed.
