Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and transport products within the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on machinery to ensure it is in proper working order and report any defects immediately.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing warehouse aisles, and ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and operational goals.
- Documentation: Accurately complete paperwork related to shipments, inventory counts, and equipment logs.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven warehouse surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
- Training: No prior forklift experience is required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
