Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to/from loading docks.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of inventory, including stacking and organizing pallets.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Follow all company safety protocols and traffic regulations inside the facility.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read and understand safety labels.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
